Life Without Internet Is It Possible?

If I were to walk into a room full of people, whether they are students, teachers, businessmen, office-goers, even housewives or any other, & ask this question out loud, chances are that most will laugh at the foolishness of such a thought. With Internet becoming a vital part of our everyday lives, it would be quite difficult to imagine a world without it. From being a tool in the hands of computer wizards to becoming a part of routine lives of people, Internet has come a long way since it was first introduced. It would not be fair to start a discussion on how the world would be affected if the Internet were to suddenly disappear overnight without atleast outlining the myriad ways in which we utilize it every day.

Internet In Different Aspects of Life :-

• Connecting & Communicating There is a unanimous agreement among people all around the world that Internet has contributed quite a lot in achieving global connectivity. It brings together people from all across the world via several online platforms like social media networks, chat groups, Instant Messaging, etc. Social Networking Services, for which Internet is essential, has become a lifeline for many. Services like email have enabled people to communicate with each other easily & for free.

• Shopping- Yet another important use Of Internet, which has grown tremendously in the past few years, is e-commerce. More & more businesses have invested in establishing an online presence to lure buyers online. There is also a growing section of people who prefer to shop online owing to the convenience as well as other benefits.

• Accessing Information With Internet being a storehouse of inexhaustive information, it is hardly a surprise that a sizeable number of students, workers, businesses, academicians, etc. make use of it on a regular basis.

Besides these, there are a growing number of people who surf the Internet regularly, work online, play online games, etc. After having a look at the above mentioned aspects of life, it is quite easy to understand why many refuse to even consider a situation where humans would have to survive without Internet. The debate about Life - with Vs without Internet still rages on in intellectual circles without having reached a unanimous outcome & none visible in near future. Inspite of this, one thing we can be sure of i.e. Life without Internet may be quite possible, but it would be very difficult & inconvenient indeed.
